Thank you to all who attended the McQuilling Services - JBC Energy City Briefing in London this June, it was a great success! McQuilling Services shared views on the Crude and Product Tanker Market Outlook with focus on US crude exports and OPEC production cuts altering trade flows, the future growth of the global tanker fleet and expectations of freight rates and earnings through 2022. JBC Energy presented their outlook on global crude/product balances, pricing and differentials in the context of current and future geopolitics, while discussing the potential implications, solutions and pitfalls for the upcoming IMO 2020 Sulphur Cap regulation. McQuilling New York Office Participated in the 2017 Angel Tree Program

The McQuilling Garden City, New York office participated in the 2017 Angel Tree program again this year. The program, organized by the Salvation Army, provides presents to disadvantaged boys and girls during the holiday season. This year, McQuilling sponsored 70 children and the gifts were picked up by the Salvation Army on December 14th. This year marks our fourth year of participating in this program, helping less fortunate children have a very special holiday.

The EDPI Ship Repair Yard Project Achieves Another Milestone

On Monday of this week, the completed environmental impact assessment for the Empresa de Docagens Pedra do Ingá (EDPI) ship repair yard project was submitted to the Paraíba state environmental agency, SUDEMA. This report, the “Estudo de Impacto Ambiental/Relatório de Impacto Ambiental” (Study of Environmental Impacts/Report of Environmental Impacts, called the EIA/RIMA) was produced in accordance with the requirements to receive environmental licenses for the construction of the new ship repair yard.
